Puffin 36 Gaffelkotter (1995-1998) - Offers wanted

This Puffin 36 is a work of art. Built to the highest standards. The mast can be topped by one and a half metres, limiting the height to 12.50m. The overall length is 11 metres, with bowsprit raised. The vessel features a retractable keel that can reduce the draft to 90m, with lowered, weighted keel the draft is about 185cm. The partly varnished and painted superstructure is of pine. The hull is built of woodcore red cedar finished with glass mat - epoxy.. The warm, comfortable interior is made entirely of mahogany. The ship is further equipped with modern navigation equipment, a bow thruster of recent date and a recent electric anchor winch with remote control. Hull built 1995, first launched 1998.

Broker comments: A very characteristic ship, modelled on an old English gaff cutter designed by Olivier van Meer. Due to its lightweight construction, it has good sailing characteristics and the surprisingly spacious interior is very comfortable.
