Collin Archer ketch 40 (1983) - Sold 

Beautiful Van de Wiele Ketch, well maintained and fully equipped for long sea trips. Steel s-truss hull with canoe transom. The ship has undergone an extensive refit, both the interior and the exterior have been fully renovated. The skin is also completely re-preserved and insulated on the inside. 

 

The sheltered central cockpit has a fixed spray hood. The wide gangways are easy to walk on. The sails are in good condition. It is truly a ship designed for the sea and although surprisingly fast, built on strength and comfort.

When you enter the cabin, the chart table and the passage to the aft cabin are directly on the port side. The L-shaped galley is located on the starboard side. Then follows the middle section with a bench with table and a bench on the starboard side, which can also be used as a quarterberth. On the cabin floor there is a new ship's parquet. Further forward there is the toilet and on the other side a wardrobe. Further forward is the bow cabin with two beds in a V. The aft cabin with double bed has been made accessible from the inside. The diesel engine is easily accessible.
