Trintella IV / Victory 40
Victory 40 / Trintella IV (1980) - €76.000,-
The Victory 40 sailing yachts were built by Tyler Mouldings in Poole, England. This vessel was built by Tyler and presumably carpentered in Scotland. This successful Van de Stadt-designed vessel is aimed at people who want to take a long trip by sea and typifies itself as safe, comfortable and manageable for a small crew. Everything contributes to this: the spacious interior with a large aft cabin with its own toilet, fountain and hot/cold water, a deep, safe centre cockpit with a steering wheel and a large forward cabin with a longitudinal galley, chart table and U-shaped settee. At the front of the boat, in addition to lots of storage space, a shower/toilet and a double berth are housed.
The ship is ketch rigged, with a new (2023) furling mainsail and a new genoa (2024). Aft is another mizzen, but it is currently in storage. The ship has a long keel s-frame with laminated ballast and tanks creating a rock-solid box structure. The laminate is so thick that it is also presumably bulletproof. This makes this ship virtually indestructible, making a grounding for the Victory owners without unpleasant consequences.

The ship has been completely refitted. Renewed rigging, new sails, new Topdeck teak deck, completely overhauled engine (2014), newly laid electrics and gas lines, navigation equipment, new deck hatches: everything has been tackled.
