Sirocco 38 MS Ketch

Sirocco 38 MS Stalen Ketch (1974) - Sold

Beautiful classically lined Sirocco 38 motor sailor designed by the famous De Vries Lentsch. There was a version with a large open cockpit and a version with a smaller open cockpit and an aft cabin.  The ships were delivered with a tower rig or with a kit rig.  This ship is a kit rigged version with a large open cockpit. Because of the solid construction and the s-shaped underwater hull, this ship is extremely suitable for long journeys and is a very stable and has pleasant sailing characteristics. Once on board, one immediately notices how easy and pleasant the passage to the fore deck actually is. The gangways are wide and offer a safe passage.

From the cockpit, the overview is great, there is more than enough space for all people on board. Further to the front, you can easily walk into the wheelhouse, a nice place to be in bad weather. To port you will find all the instruments and navigation equipment, to starboard is the galley, equipped with a tap, cooker and refrigerator. In the front of the boat you will find a double cabin, ample storage space and the heads compartment. This is equipped with a hand shower, toilet and sink. There are three additional berths in the saloon and one in the wheelhouse.

This seaworthy Sirocco 38 MS can be visited by appointment in Dinteloord.
