Konsul 37 Sloop

Konsul 37 Sloop (1971) - € 17.000,-

Classic polyester cabin sailing yacht. Well-maintained and ready for holiday.

Sailing characteristics: The ship has a relatively narrow hull with a large stability factor. Because of this it is a ship with excellent upwind characteristics and has a pleasant seaway. It has a normal keel with a free standing rudder behind a skeg. This makes it very manoeuvrable. The ship has an excellent position on the rudder so that with correctly trimmed sails it steers by itself and it can handle a lot of wind because of the relatively low sail point. The gangways are easy to walk on and the cockpit is well protected by the far-reaching spray hood, even in bad weather. The mast can easily be lowered by one person. This gives the ship a large sailing area.

The cabin has a galley with a cooker and oven, running water and plenty of storage space. Opposite the galley is a dinette and behind it two dog cabins with the spacious chart table. There is standing height at the entrance. Further to the front is the front cabin with two berths in a V and the toilet.

The engine is built into the middle of the ship and thus contributes well to the overall stability picture. The Farymann diesel is a reliable engine that has never let down the current owner.

All in all, it is a fine ship to go on holiday with a family. The current owner has sailed the entire North Sea, Channel, Brittany and the Irish Sea with this ship. It has a preference for the sea.
