Birchwood 33AK, closed wheelhouse (1978) - € 47.500,-

Sturdy Birchwood 33AK. This unique Birchwood is a particularly spacious boat with yard-applied closed wheelhouse. This closed wheelhouse creates several living quarters, making a longer stay on board more pleasant. It also makes the ship more seaworthy. The owner made long trips along the Dutch, French and Belgian coasts. After 20 years, however, it is time for something else. The Birchwood yachts are typical English yachts designed for large coastal waters. The ship has two heavy, slow-running diesel engines on board with a cruising speed of 12 km (6-8 kn) and has a top speed of 24 km (12-15 kn).

Layout: Outside aft deck with seating for 4 people and the helmsman. Stairs lead to the wheelhouse with steering position, L-shaped settee and table.  Aft is the spacious aft cabin with double bed and  its own toilet. Forward, you enter the main cabin with dining table and galley. Here is also the second toilet with shower. Forward, there are two more spacious berths in a V. Headroom is ample everywhere and the many windows and relatively low freeboard provide good views all around, which also immediately gives the boat its typical Birchwood appearance.
