Lidgard 41 (1980) - Sold +++ Griekenland
Impetuous is a boat designed by John Lidgard and built by him in 1980. Owned by the same owners for over 30 years and is being sold in Greece on a free mooring on the pittoresque island of Chios in the Cyclades. Impetuous is held in very high regard, she is a very safe craft being sold with much regret.
As with many boats, she has been kept up. The list of refits and improvements is long: recent sails and rigging, a new special sailing dinghy, batteries are fairly new and they also replaced the engine. There is a spare for nearly everything, including two electronic steering gears, and a hydrovane. There are two high wattage inverters which can run electric tools. Two ham radios. Two VHF sets. Loads of tools of outstanding quality. A Lifeboat that can carry a sail, also act as a ship to shore transport. A Thousand dollar wi-fi system which if you like Classical music, is outstanding.
The quality of the work inside is John Lidgards best. All the sails are very good, most made in New Zealand. The Boat is very quick and stays upright with a 50% Ballast ratio.
Comments Broker: A very special, fully equiped living-on-board vessel. Ready for a next world tour.
